News from Uncle Howard and Aunt Margaret

We have enjoyed this fall so much.  I cannot believe the calendar when we are still running around in the warm sunshine, the flowers are still blooming, and my garden is still producing.  It has been a wonderful fall in Wyoming.

I am going to North Carolina on Saturday because my mother is not expected to live.  Uncle Howard won't be able to go with me this time.  The daily oxygen he is on now made traveling such a hassle.  Plus if he gets sick while we were back there, it would be such a strain on him.   (It is hard to be sick away from home!)  And it seems he does get sick when we are not home.

So that is what is going on with us.  We think of you all and wonder what is happening in your busy lives.

Continuing the dominance!

This post will be about Elisabeth, our oldest child.  Here she is with Peter about a week ago. They have just climbed Cache Peak.

Elisabeth lives in Brooklyn and is an actress and singer.
Here is the cast of one of her plays: She is on the far right in the back.
You can hear her newest song here:

Elisabeth works a variety of day jobs when not acting. She got to work at fashion week and see lots of great shows. This week she is working at comic con following around a yeti for Animal Planet TV-- kind of like the people who follow the Disney Princesses around.

She and her boyfriend Q come out to Idaho whenever they can. They like to golf, hike, snowboard, and fish.
I don't know how to flip this, sorry!

Sometimes she is a hair model for bumble and bumble.
They do all kinds of crazy stuff.

And that is Elisabeth.

And now for the promised report on my visit with Uncle Marvin and Shirla--also waving to Bryan and Mike in the driveway--they were working.
Time was short, it took much longer to get there from Layton than I thought, plus there was construction and a marathon. But it was good to see them both. Shirla has a beautiful welcoming home just like you would think she would. Uncle Marvin is thin but still alert and sharp. We didn't talk long, well, mostly I talked,  but I think Uncle Marvin was getting tired, so that was probably a good thing. Shirla is pretty as ever and so kind. So that is my report.
What I would like to see in future posts, not by me--Valery's wedding pictures. Any news about anyone else but me and my family!
